academic centre established following the restructuring of language, general studies, and nationhood-related units at UNIMEL. Originally founded as the Centre for Foundation and General Studies (PAPU) in 2018, the centre has undergone several phases of transformation before being rebranded as PBPU on 13 February 2025. Today, PBPU is responsible for coordinating language courses, General Studies Subjects (MPU), nationhood studies, communication, and student development programmes to produce holistic, competent, and competitive graduates.
